"STARRS: A New Role For Paramedics In Admission Prevention"

Andrew joined STARRS as a Senior Paramedic at the beginning of November 2014, becoming one of the first two people to ever work for STARRS in this role. He studied to become a Paramedic with the London Ambulance Service under their internal Student Paramedic programme from 2009 qualifying in October 2012. Since then he has gone on to mentor students, apprentices and other more junior members of staff. Previously Andrew has worked in IT before studying Law at degree and post graduate level.
Mike joined the London Ambulance Service in 2003 as a Trainee Technician and progressed to Paramedic in 2006. Transferred to South Central Ambulance Service in 2008. Experienced on frontline ambulances, solo rapid response vehicles and as a Clinical Mentor. Now a Senior Paramedic with STARRS, part of London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
